Featured Member of the Month (July 2024): Dr. Sammi Zerrouk, MD

Dr. Sammi Zerrouk is a French and Algerian citizen practicing in St Avold, France, and Algiers, Algeria. He is the CEO of Santavascular Group and heads the venous surgery department at St Nabor Clinique. Dr. Zerrouk graduated from Lorraine University and completed post-graduate training in phlebology and vascular surgery in Paris. He founded the Advanced Society for Therapeutics, Vascular Studies, and New Imaging Technologies (SANTEVEIN) and organizes the NABORVEIN annual meeting.
Dr. Zerrouk is an Associate Editor-in-Chief of "Les Pathologies Vasculaires" and a member of several professional societies, including the French Society of Phlebology and the Canadian Society of Phlebology. He coordinated the 51st and co-chaired the 52nd International Meeting of Angiology in Paris.

He has authored numerous scientific articles and a university textbook, and delivered many presentations at national and international conferences. He also founded the Naborvein Institute to promote research in venous disease, collaborating with Sorbonne University and INSERM.
Dr. Zerrouk holds over ten postgraduate degrees in various vascular, surgical, and aesthetic fields, including thrombosis, sleep apnea management, and aesthetic medicine. He is an official teacher and coordinator at Sorbonne University for three vascular postgraduate degrees in phlebology and endovenous therapies.

Dr Sammi ZERROUK is a French and Algerian citizen. He is in private practice in St

of venous surgery department at St Nabor Clinique. Dr. Sammi ZERROUK is a
graduate of the Lorraine University. He completed post-graduate training in
phlebology and vascular surgery in Paris, France. He is the founder and current
president of a young club of action and reflection “Advanced Society for Therapeutics, ‎Vascular Studies And NewImaging technologies SANTEVEIN" with his "NABORVEIN ‎annual
meeting” (2018-2022-2023-2024). He is an Associate Editor-in-Chief of “Les pathology
vasculaire” (ex Angiologie) medical journal. He is member of the scientific Board
of the Journal and health magazine “Look and Medicine”. He is an active member
of the French society of Phlebology (SFP), of the French College of Vascular
Pathology (CFPV), French society of vascular physician (SFMV) and Member of
Honor of the Canadian Society of Phlebology. He coordinate the educative and
scientific program of the 51st International meeting of Angiologie “Vascular
Pathologies JIFA” (Paris Pitié Salpêtrière 2021) and was the co-chairman of the 52nd
édition (Paris Pitié Salpêtrière 2022). He is the author of several scientific articles
and one university textbooks. He is a vascular anatomic illustrator and collaborate
with masters of phlebology as Gillot, JF Uhl and F VIN after being their student. He
delivered dozens of didactic and clinical presentations at national and international
congresses. He created an associative and participative institute “Naborvein
institute” to promote research in the field of venous disease (2019) witch
collaborate with Sorbonne university and INSERM in several clinical studies. He is
an official teacher and coordinator at Sorbonne University of three vascular postgraduate
degrees in Phlebology and endovenous therapies (2011-2022).‎
